Editorial policy
Lively Travel Stories aims to make travel subjects clear, fair and worth returning to. We distinguish what can be established from what is an interpretation, and we correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against suitable sources and take care with names, meanings and historical context. When a detail is uncertain or perspectives differ, we say so rather than making a tidy claim that the evidence cannot support. Our stories are editorial features, not substitutes for current local information or professional advice.
Independence and support
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not for partners. Paid placements and material produced with a partner are clearly labelled where they appear. A partnership does not buy a favourable editorial assessment, and a reader should be able to tell when content has a commercial relationship.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or a missing qualification, contact us through the Contact page and identify the story and detail. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Images are chosen to support the subject and should not be mistaken for proof of a claim. Some illustrations are AI-generated; where used, they are identified as illustrations and not presented as documentary photographs.
